Since I have decided to also review movies along with books, I'll post 3 that are all wonderful and we have bought dvd's of all 3.

* The hundred-Foot Journey is one of our favorites, wonderful acting, story line and stars cast is just the right roles

*Age of Adaline is also a great story line, and great acting. When we first watched it had no idea what it was about and it took us by surprise the story line, but how wonderful it was done.

*Hidden Figures is based on a true story of " Three brilliant African American women at NASA -- Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan and Mary Jackson -- serve as the brains behind one of the greatest operations in history: the launch of astronaut John Glenn into orbit, a stunning achievement that restored the nation's confidence, turned around the Space Race and galvanized the world." I borrowed this qoute from the net. The acting and cast is wonderful.

SSSSHHHHHH...can't  talk or make a sound.
Great movie! So is the second one. 

These are a bit older but still great to watch

Based on the book. So well done, great acting.

At Home in Milford 

What an amazing series.
I have read the first 2 books..just wonderful and lovely story-telling.
A town you would love to live in, the characters are great!
Highly recommend.

The Suitcases

This is an excellant book. Anne Hall Whitt shares her life story, she and her 2 sisters, during the Depression, end up in the foster care system....heads up, it has a wonderful ending. 

I have read this book numerious times, it's just THAT good!.
(note: may be out of print, so hard to find)

 Alicia: My Story

Excellent book, author writes an amazing true story of her survival as a young teen duirng the holocaust. She is the only one of her family that survives.  I have read this book multiple times, it is THAT good.

Eighty Acres

Excellent Book. I have read it twice!
 Ronald Jager writes of his childhood in Michigan growing up on a farm. 

The Star and the Shamrock

      I enjoyed reading this book.
